Environmental Policy
Diamet develops and manufactures powder metallurgical products, such as sintered machine parts, oil-impregnated sintered bearings, and sintered special alloys.
We promote the following toward zero emissions from the perspective of preserving the global environment in all aspects of business:
We comply with environment-related laws and other requirements and create a clean factory that is friendly to the environment.
We implement environment-related educations and trainings to raise the awareness of our employees. In addition, we will promote pollution prevention and environmental protection activities, and strive to be able to respond promptly to unforeseen circumstances.
We consider the effective use of resources to prevent global warming, save energy, and enhance yields, as well as to develop environment-conscious products.
We promote the separating and recycling of wastes for reducing gross discharge.
We manage chemical substances appropriately for reducing the usage of hazardous substances.
We set environmental goals and review it to improve the environmental management system continuously for the purpose of enhancing environmental performance.
We announce this environmental policy internally and externally.

Information Security Basic Policy
1.Purpose
It has been some time since IT was introduced into our business environment, and it is now standard for the information we handle to be managed using computers. The introduction of IT has significantly improved operational efficiency and managerial support, and we will continue to make effective use of it. For our company, ensuring “security” is essential. To prevent the loss of business opportunities due to security incidents and to enhance customer satisfaction, it is imperative that we quickly establish a secure brand image.
To this end, we position information assets as our “fourth key asset” and will protect and manage them as critical resources.
We hereby establish and commit to the “Information Security Policy” to protect our information assets.
2.Structure of the Document
The Information Security Policy consists of the following three hierarchical levels:
- ① Basic Policy on Information Security
- ② Information Security Management Standards / Confidential Information Management Regulations
- ③ Information Security Implementation Procedures
Note: The term “Information Security Policy” refers to all three levels collectively.
1)Information Security Management Standards
These standards define the necessary security measures for electromagnetic information assets to be taken by the relevant entities, based on these regulations.
2)Confidential Information Management Regulations
These regulations define the methods for maintaining the confidentiality of information assets, as well as basic provisions for handling personal information.
3)Information Security Implementation Procedures
These procedures provide concrete steps and guidelines for each department to manage and operate information security. Company-wide procedures are prepared by the Administrative Department, while department-specific procedures are prepared by each department and established by the Chief Information Security Officer.
3.Information Security Code of Conduct
To protect our information assets from threats such as accidents, disasters, and crimes, and to meet the trust of our customers and society, we commit to the following principles:

Management will take the initiative in improving and enhancing information security.
Establishment of Internal Structure
Information security measures will be established as formal internal rules and promoted systematically.
Employee Commitment
Employees will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure information security.
Compliance with Legal and Contractual Requirements
We will comply with all applicable laws and contractual obligations related to information security and fulfill customer expectations.
Response to Violations and Incidents
We will respond appropriately to any violations or incidents and strive to prevent recurrence.
